Here are the release notes for the latest version of Attic, which was launched on October 1. A version with more beautiful new features and content.
New Solution
Domain Monitor
With this release, we are officially launching Domain Monitor as a free service in Attic. Since the beginning, Domain Monitor has been available in Attic as a beta solution. We needed the configuration functionality to bring it to production, and that is now the case.
An Attic user can enable Domain Monitor for a maximum of 2 domains. Attic will continuously monitor various aspects: domain registration, name servers, MX records, and also SSL certificates on websites within the domain. Super handy!
If you want to add multiple domains, please note that we will soon launch an upgrade package.
Attic App
Configs
In the previous release, we introduced configs in the Attic app. Configs are values that Attic uses to fine-tune your Microsoft 365 for your organization. Think of exception lists or email addresses for notifications.
We have now reached the point where relevant configs can also be set in tickets. The next step is to gradually activate this functionality. We will start with Domain Monitor, which is convenient because you can now enter specific domains, hosts, and ports for monitoring.
At a later time, we will also activate this for the Microsoft 365 service.
From Ticket to Check
On the ticket page, you can now click through to the relevant check. At the top, under the title of the ticket, you will find a new pill containing the CHK or RULE number, which is clickable. This is handy if you are looking for more background information.
Security content
The following checks will be added this week:
- CHK-1168 – CA Policy Changes (at the request of NEH Group)
- CHK-1169 – Windows LAPS Enabled
- CHK-1170 – FIDO 2 Enabled
- CHK-1171 – Phishing resistant MFA for Admins
